Mined and Lab-Grown Diamonds
Mined and lab-grown diamonds are both composed of pure carbon, transformed into sparkling cubic crystalline stones. Although lab-grown diamonds possess the same optical properties as natural diamonds due to their identical chemical composition, they lack the intrinsic rarity of natural diamonds. Natural diamonds are formed over millions of years, acquiring their scintillating shapes from the pressure deep within the Earth's crust. This means that all the natural diamonds that will ever exist have already been created, making them forever rare. In contrast, laboratory-grown diamonds can be produced limitlessly.

Diamond color pertains to the degree of clarity in a diamond. The diamond color scale spans from D (completely colorless) to Z (exhibiting a warm, yellowish tint). Your objective regarding color should be to select a diamond that appears colorless. Achieving this doesn’t necessarily require choosing a diamond at the highest end of the color scale, as the distinctions in visual appearance between very high grades are minimal, while the cost significantly escalates.
